Job summary

Nationwide seeks an Associate Counsel to join the Investments Legal Practice Group within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer. You will provide general legal services to assigned areas, work on routine matters under supervision, and tackle more complex issues with senior counsel support.

You will structure and negotiate private investments, review multiple agreements, and ensure compliance with securities and insurance regulations while partnering with investment professionals and internal

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in accordance with OCLO policy in good standing.
• Typically up to four years of proven experience in the practice area.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to assigned areas within Investments andOCLO.
• Research legal issues, draft and review agreements and documents.
• Advise on regulatory and legal obligations under securities and insurance laws.
• Support negotiations and advise business partners and clients.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to manage complex transactions.
