Job summary

Enstar Group seeks an Investment Associate to partner with the VP of Alternative Investments and the Non-Core Investments team. The role supports manager selection, monitoring, reporting, forecasting, and operational activities across Alternatives and Non-Core portfolios.

Key focus areas include monitoring external managers, performance attribution, and preparing investment materials for committees. You will build asset models, maintain data across systems, and contribute to ad hoc analysis.”

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in institutional investments with due diligence and reporting focus.
• Experience in an insurance company environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Progress toward CFA/CAIA designation is a plus.
• Familiarity with alt assets: private equity, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing managers and investments; draft monitoring notes and updates.
• Analyze performance and attribution against budgets and benchmarks.
• Maintain manager scorecards and peer-group comparisons.
• Support RFPs and manager due-diligence processes.
• Prepare quarterly materials for Investment Committee and CIO.
• Enhance investment reporting in Power BI and Excel.
