Enstar Group is seeking an Investment Associate to partner with the VP - Alternative Investments and the Non-Core Investments team. You will support manager selection, monitoring, reporting, forecasting, and operational activities across the Alternatives and Non-Core portfolios.

You will monitor external managers, build asset models, perform performance analysis, and assist in due diligence, contributing to investment memoranda for Committee review.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in institutional investment focusing on due diligence, monitoring, and reporting of external managers.
• Insurance company environment experience preferred.
• Experience screening and monitoring external alternative funds and managers.
• CFA/CAIA designation progress preferred.
• Understanding of non-core/alternative asset classes (private credit, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, public equity, CLO equity, high yield).
• Strong Excel modeling and quantitative skills for asset modeling and attribution.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg; familiarity with StepStone Omni, MSCI Private I.
• Ability to manipulate large data sets and translate insights using Excel and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Monitor existing managers and investments quarterly.
• Analyze performance and attribution against budgets and benchmarks.
• Maintain manager scorecards for funds, strategies, and managers.
• Develop peer group comparisons for existing and prospective managers.
• Maintain data across internal databases and third‑party systems.
• Support manager due diligence and RFP processes.
• Contribute to investment memoranda for Investment Committee.
