Job summary

Hunter SF is seeking an Analyst to focus on primary, secondary, and traditional secondary investments across private equity, infrastructure, and real estate in San Francisco. The role covers financial modeling, fund and portfolio valuation, due diligence, and presenting recommendations to the Global Investment Committee.

You will screen opportunities, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, and coordinate with global teams to monitor performance and prepare LP and Advisory Board materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business.
• Up to two years of relevant professional experience.
• Interest in private markets and long-term investment career in San Francisco.
• Familiarity working with international teams and across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and initial screening of investment opportunities.
• Analyze, value and price interests in private funds and underlying companies.
• Prepare financial projections, transaction models and return sensitivities.
• Conduct fund-level and asset-level due diligence, including review of fund materials and portfolio data.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the global team and Investment Committee.
• Monitor investments against underwritten performance and report to stakeholders.
