Base pay range

$49,440.00/yr - $49,440.00/yr

The Investment Advisor position has a high earning potential. We are offering a base salary with monthly commissions. Candidates must hold a current FINRA series 7 and 66 License for consideration.

Purpose of Position Enhance member relationships through the sale of Investment and Insurance products. Responsible for providing financial planning, financial advice, and investment management to serve the needs of the credit union’s consumer and business members. Accessing the member’s investment portfolio, financial objectives, and provides guidance to the member on successfully achieving those objectives.

Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications: Possess valid FINRA Series 7 and 66 and State Insurance licensing certifications.

Experience: Two or more years’ experience in related Financial Institution planning/sales field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be bondable
Possess a clean credit and U-4 CRD History
State Life & Health Insurance license of state where applying
Strong sales, marketing, and business development skills
The desire and intrinsic motivation to meet or exceed goals
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
Effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, and with various levels of constituents within the financial institution
