Munich Re Group in New York, NY seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to manage accounting, reporting and planning for the investment portfolio under IFRS and STAT. You will collaborate with MRAS Investments Accounting, internal teams and BlackRock to ensure accurate financial and regulatory reporting.

You will also help with quarterly tax provisions, prepare journal entries, and review reconciliations while leveraging Alteryx and Power BI to automate processes and deliver meaningful

Qualifications

• Experience in investment accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Insurance STAT accounting.
• CPA preferred or active CPA credential.
• Proficiency with SAP, Alteryx, Power BI and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate IFRS/STAT reporting for the investment portfolio.
• Review reconciliations, disclosures and regulatory deliverables.
• Prepare journal entries and assist quarterly tax provisions.
• Develop dashboards and insights using Alteryx/Power BI.
• Support internal/external audits and control requirements.
