Job summary

KACE is seeking an Investigative Analyst for Mail Theft Triage and Maintenance Support in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports volume attack mail theft investigations, coordinating with USPS Maintenance, triaging recovered mail, processing evidence, and executing Victim Notification services. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience are required.

Occasional non-core hours and weekend support may be required. Security clearance: Moderate Background Investigation (MBI).

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of (3) three years of work experience.
• Ability to organize information and communicate results effectively orally and in writing.
• Significant demonstrated experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mail receptacle security by coordinating with USPS, HOA, and management to upgrade or replace mail receptacles.
• Review mail theft crime reports and analyze data to identify risk areas and upgrade units with security features.
• Triage recovered mail to identify evidentiary value, contact customers, and coordinate retention authorization.
• Process mail theft case evidence (photocopying, data entry, disposition).
• Enter Victim Entry Services (VES) data and coordinate Victim Notification mailings.
