Job summary

KACE seeks an Investigative Analyst – Mail theft Triage and Maintenance Support in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports mail theft investigations within the Inspection Service field division, with a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI) clearance and an ISA I-C level.

Responsibilities include triage, maintenance, data processing, evidence handling, victim notification support, and coordination with USPS Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of work experience.
• Ability to organize information and communicate results effectively orally and in writing.
• Significant demonstrated experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Address mail receptacle maintenance security and triage of recovered mail; coordinate with USPS Maintenance.
• Review mail theft reporting; analyze data to identify risk areas and designate upgrade units.
• Triage recovered mail; contact customers and coordinate authorization to retain; document and return mail.
• Process mail theft case evidence (photocopying, data entry, disposition).
• Coordinate Victim Entry Services (VES) data entry and Victim Notification mailings.
• Support other duties consistent with mail theft investigation administrative functions.
