Job summary

KACE is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the United States Postal Inspection Service’s mail fraud and financial crime programs from Fairfax, VA. The role involves analyzing data, preparing lead packages, and coordinating with interagency partners.

The position requires evaluating information from multiple sources and presenting findings in clear, concise reports to assist investigations. A Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are required, with security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and five years of work experience in a law enforcement intelligence unit environment.
• Significant experience considered in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and triages fraud complaints in various databases.
• Analyzes complaint data and trends for further analysis or dissemination.
• Liaises with other law enforcement agencies to identify targets and coordinate investigations.
• Analyzes data to identify patterns, assess data quality, and filter irrelevant data.
• Evaluates information to determine criminal activity and presents findings.
• Identifies illicit activities and performs linkage analysis across task force networks.
• Utilizes diverse data sources to support money laundering investigations and asset identification.
• Develops and disseminates intelligence such as threat reports and lead packages for operators and investigators.
• Communicates analytical findings to IS Program Managers via reports, briefings, or meetings.
