Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Control professional to manage the execution of finished goods holds/releases, monitor inventory accuracy, and coordinate with Quality and Logistics to ensure timely dispositions. The role includes developing best practices for traceability and supporting recalls and rework coordination.

You will train BU Quality resources, maintain contact directories, and become the SME for traceability tools and procedures. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Distribution / Logistics experience.
• SAP or WMS experience.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem solving and analysis.
• Communication/Presentation skills (written and verbal).
• Ethics and integrity.
• Effectively works in teams.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple business partners.
• Facilitate individuals working towards a common goal.
• Position is up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and ensure the execution of all finished goods. Quality hold and release orders for product outside of plant control.
• Provide ongoing monitoring of, and reporting on, hold product; collect and verify inventory count reports.
• Analyze inventory data daily to ensure timely dispositions.
• Work with Quality, Logistics and the distribution network to ensure product disposition is timely.
• Lead Best Practice improvement projects affecting traceability.
• Support Manager of Inventory Control with mock recalls, recall readiness, and rework coordination.
• Provide training and support to BU Quality resources on Traceability Best Practices.
• Provide input into Quality policies affecting hold procedures, traceability and market withdrawal.
• Maintain electronic directories of current Supply Chain contact information.
• Become SME in Traceability data, tools, and procedures; administer Traceability software.
