Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking an Inventory Control professional at its Chicago operations to manage hold/release of finished goods, traceability, and related logistics tasks. You will work with Plant, BU Quality and the distribution network to ensure timely disposition and data accuracy.

The role requires SAP/WMS experience, Excel proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 25%. This on-site position offers exposure to cross-functional teams and key quality processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Experience with SAP or a WMS in distribution/logistics.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and maintain traceability.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate finished goods hold/release with plant, BU Quality and distribution.
• Monitor and report on hold product; verify inventory counts.
• Analyze daily inventory data to ensure timely dispositions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Logistics and network for on-time disposition.
• Lead Best Practice projects affecting traceability.
• Support recalls and rework coordination.
• Provide training to BU Quality on Traceability.
• Input into Quality policies affecting hold procedures and traceability.
• Maintain electronic directories of SC contacts.
• Serve as SME for Traceability data and software.
• Be on-call 24/7 for 1 week every 5 weeks.
