Job summary

The Tecumseh State Correctional Institution is seeking a self-motivated Supply Technician II with inventory experience to manage receiving, stocking, and issuing supplies.

Responsibilities include inspecting shipments, maintaining accurate records, operating material-handling equipment, and ensuring safe, clean, and compliant warehouse operations. A valid driver's license and pre-employment exams are required. On offer is a structured Nebraska corrections training program after hire.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in inventory, warehouse, or related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass medical exam and a drug test prior to employment.
• Completion of Nebraska Corrections Training Program after Staff Training Academy.

Responsibilities

• Receives and inspects supplies, verifies shipments/invoices, and resolves discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Stocks, organizes, rotates, and maintains inventory to maximize space and ensure proper supply control.
• Fulfills requisitions and shipments and maintains accurate inventory, purchase, receipt, and issuance records.
• Operates material-handling equipment and ensures safe handling and movement of supplies.
• Maintains a safe, clean, secure, and orderly warehouse in compliance with State and agency policies.
