Job summary

The Oregon Department of Corrections seeks a detail-oriented Supply Specialist at Warner Creek Correctional Facility to manage inventory, store and ship supplies, and support staff and adults in custody with accurate, timely deliveries.

This role leads AICs, coordinates with vendors, maintains AFAMIS/TAG systems, and ensures secure, compliant operations within a demanding correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Three years of stocking, storeroom or warehouse experience including purchasing and maintaining inventory records.
• Experience in warehouse, supply chain, or inventory management operations.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and train AICs in work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, request, store, ship, and record inventory at the outstation warehouse/commissary.
• Assign, instruct, and oversee AICs, including pulling supplies and loading trucks.
• Monitor and reconcile inventories to maintain stocking levels.
• Forecast demand, reorder supplies, rotate stock to minimize loss.
• Inspect incoming shipments and resolve discrepancies with vendors or carriers.
• Package, label, and record products for shipment and delivery.
• Maintain AFAMIS, TAG systems and update product records.
