Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks an Inventory & Purchasing Associate to maintain stock integrity and support fast-paced manufacturing environments in Bloomington, IL. You will oversee inventory, process replenishments, manage vendors, and assist with cost controls while collaborating with operations and accounting.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or equivalent, strong math and reading skills, and proven teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence; write simple correspondence; present information clearly.
• Must be a team player, organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize.
• Outstanding people and communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the integrity of inventory and restocking of items in inventory.
• Processes repairs for stock; puts away stock; timestamps repair parts; pulls parts; delivers component parts to technicians for repairs.
• Controls inventory and material from vendors, proposing changes to stock levels and reorder levels.
• Monitors stock levels, enters orders, checks status, expedites late material orders.
• Maintains cross-reference system for optimal usage and tracks nonconforming parts.
