Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, seeks a Supply Clerk for our Long Prairie, Minnesota plant. You will monitor and maintain packaging, chemical, and parts inventories, place orders, document shipments, and issue equipment to employees.

The role requires English communication, ability to work in varying temperatures around moving equipment with PPE, and overtime as production demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, and write).
• Ability to work in a variety of temperatures and around moving equipment with PPE.
• Must be able to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with overtime.
• Pallet jack or forklift experience is preferred.
• Prior production experience and recent work history are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain packaging, chemical, and parts inventory.
• Place orders and document receipt of shipments.
• Issue employee equipment through store register.
• Maintain parts and equipment area; keep area clean and organized.
• Use computer to issue employee equipment (Microsoft Word and Excel).
