Job summary

Jupiter Power, based in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks an Inventory Supervisor to join its Operations & Maintenance team. You will oversee day-to-day inventory administration, coordinate procurement, and develop processes to maintain stock levels.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, have 5+ years of experience with supervisory responsibilities, and are proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience
• High School Grad/ GED
• 5+ years of experience
• Supervisor/ Management Experience: 2+ years
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Setting up new inventory warehouses and develop processes and procedures to maintain the proper stock levels and accurate count.
• Will lead all procurement requirements for the Operations & Maintenance department.
• Inventory Supervisor will need problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.
• Executes the sourcing process for the Operations & Maintenance department.
• Analyzes responses to complex bid requests, points out commercial differences, and makes succinct recommendations in selecting appropriate suppliers for contract awards.
• Develops new sources of supply and monitors ongoing supplier performance.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
