BI Incorporated in Boulder, Colorado is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to coordinate inventory, logistics and planning to ensure a steady flow of materials for production. You will oversee distribution, transportation, and inventory control while driving continuous improvement across multiple departments.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, analytics, and collaboration with Finance, Fulfillment, Product Development, Technology, Sales and Training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least five (5) years of experience with materials management.
• At least one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience using the Syteline or equivalent MRP application.
• Lean manufacturing, 5S, DFT, Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Knowledge of LeanFlow and DFT.
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Conflict and change management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory, logistics, product services, planning and procedures to ensure flow of materials for production.
• Oversee inventory, distribution and transportation operations to support goals.
• Coach and develop teams while promoting continuous improvement.
• Monitor and measure manufacturing and business processes across multiple departments.
• Develop metrics and track performance against targets.
• Communicate inventory activities with management and stakeholders.
• Support technology rollouts with readiness, testing and training.
• Identify problems and implement cross-functional solutions.
• Prepare reports and analytics for leadership.
