Job summary

BI Incorporated in Boulder, CO seeks an Inventory Supervisor to coordinate inventory, logistics, and planning to support production. You’ll lead a cross-functional team, drive continuous improvement, and deploy scalable processes across departments.

Responsibilities include analytics-driven process design, developing metrics, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory control. forklift experience and Lean practices are valued in this light manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of materials management experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with Syteline or equivalent MRP application.
• Lean manufacturing, 5S, DFT, or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• LeanFlow and DFT knowledge beneficial.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory, logistics, planning and procedures to support production schedules.
• Oversee inventory, distribution and transportation operations with stakeholders.
• Coach and develop team; promote continuous improvement.
• Utilize analytics to monitor manufacturing and business processes.
• Ensure field inventory is accurately reported and managed.
• Support technology rollouts with communications, testing and training.
• Develop methods, procedures and metrics for inventory processes.
• Establish and monitor process efficiency, quality and throughput metrics.
• Provide regular reports to senior management.
• Maintain security and accountability of materials and goods.
