Job summary

Helen of Troy is seeking an Inventory Supervisor in Olive Branch, MS, 100% onsite in the Distribution Center. You will coordinate daily tasks, manage inventory adjustments, and keep ADP records updated while guiding a team on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

You will lead a shift, train staff, and ensure timely reporting in daily/ evening meetings with accurate metrics and adherence to policies. This role requires leadership and hands-on oversight.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of management experience in an inventory role.
• 6+ years of inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergencies.
• Lift certification and ability to work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks and report results to the IC Manager.
• Sign off on inventory adjustments within approval range.
• Maintain ADP records for associates and inputs for shifts.
• Handoff incomplete tasks to next shift via email or verbal handoff.
• Conduct coaching, discipline, and 90 day reviews as needed.
• Prepare schedules, assign duties, and direct work.
• Ensure safety, quality, attendance, and customer service expectations.

What you will be doing

• Coordinates daily tasks in a timely manner and reports results to the Inventory Control (IC) Manager to meet deadlines and holds leads and individual associates accountable for completing directives and daily assignments.
• Adjusts and signs-off on inventory adjustments for approval and within approval range.
• Responsible for keeping ADP updated for associates.
• Reports to the Inventory Control Manager (IC) on the completion of all inventory tasks assigned, including follow-ups with leads and associates, by making them accountable for their responsibilities.
• Responsible for handoff of incomplete tasks to the next shift, either by e-mail or verbal communication.
• Performs accurate positive or negative adjustments using the correct accounts and keeping within the tolerance provided.
• Performs all tasks and functions associated with the department.
• Maintains a flexible schedule, accomplishes the deadlines for any given tasks, and meets specific customer demands.
• Sets an example for all employees about safety, quality excellence, attendance, team-oriented work environment, and customer service satisfaction.
• Reports to the management team in the daily morning and evening meetings with accurate information regarding backorder requests, cycle counts, daily audits, including Put Away, Empty Loc, and Bin Walk Off Validations, enter the information in the Scorecard, and clarifies any management concerns.
• Responsible for entering the daily and nighttime for each associate in ADP.
• Keeps track that all absences, PTO, and vacation time are input in ADP.
• Responsible for coaching, counseling, and any disciplinary actions required, along with proper documentation, for associate infractions of HELE policies.
• Conducts new associates, 90 Day Employee Reviews, i.e., probationary time, as well as the Annual Performance Reviews for the rest of the Inventory Control Associates.
• Supplies written expectations and sets attainable goals to be accomplished within the shift.
• Manages subordinate supervisors and non-supervisory employees in accordance with Helen of Troy's policies.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of a department.
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees.
• Prepares work schedules, assigns duties, and directs work.

• 10 Key Touch and Sight 8000 keys per minute.
• Experience with Acrobat/ORACLE.
• Experience with Crown Order Picker/Raymond Order Picker/Forklift-stand up.
• Cycle Counting/Inventory experience.
• Ability to work across multiple locations/buildings as business needs require.
• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 + years of management experience.
• 6+ years of Inventory experience.
• Lift Certification (Order Picker).
• Ability to work well with others adhering to company values.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and from elevated work platforms when required.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as necessary.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

• Lift Certification (Reach, or Dock Stocker).
