This role serves as the primary escalation point for complex inventory challenges while ensuring coordinators consistently follow established procedures and deliver high-quality support.The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for auditing work, coaching team members, identifying operational risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This individual is expected to independently identify opportunities for improvement, communicate progress and obstacles effectively, and recommend scalable solutions that strengthen inventory performance across the organization.ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coach, and develop a team of Inventory CoordinatorsAudit coordinator’s work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with documented processes and proceduresServe as the primary escalation point for complex inventory issues and operational concernsProvide timely feedback and hold team members accountable for quality, productivity, and process adherenceOversee the planning, execution, and reconciliation of annual physical inventoriesInvestigate inventory discrepancies to identify root causes, business impact, and long-term corrective actionsAnalyze trends and recurring issues to determine broader organizational impact and prevent future occurrencesProactively identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementDevelop and present recommendations, including issue identification, business impact, and proposed solutionsUtilize NetSuite ERP reporting, saved searches, and inventory data to monitor performance and support decision-makingCommunicate project status, priorities, risks, and roadblocks to leadership in a clear and timely mannerProvide real-time support to store teams through internal communication platforms, responding to inventory-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on established processes and proceduresPartner with field leadership and cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy and process executionPerform other duties as assignedSkills and KnowledgeComfortable working independently while collaborating across departments, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Highly analytical with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, Intermediate Excel skills preferred, NetSuite ERP experience preferred, including saved searches and reporting, or a strong desire to learn, Process-driven with strong attention to detail, Self-starter who identifies opportunities and takes ownership without constant direction, Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills, Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environmentQualifications3+ years of experience in operations, preferably retail2+ years of experience with inventory control1+ year of experience in a supervisory, coaching, or team leadership roleNetSuite ERP experience is a plus; experience with saved searches and reporting is preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipmentAble to clearly view and read information on a computer screenOccasionally lift or move items up to 15 poundsLocation and Travel RequirementsOn-site in Lenexa, KSOccasional travel to store locations based on business needsPay Range$65,000.00 - $80,000.00
