Job summary

McKinstry in Spokane, WA is seeking an Inventory Specialist for its growing Offsite Manufacturing division. You will develop inventory strategy and provide support for projects, departments and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities include coordinating requirements with vendors, budgeting stock, tracking distribution, auditing records, and supervising cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory and cost control.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Administration, Material Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of barcode equipment.
• Experience with inventory software systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and time effectively.
• Intermediate MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Project; SharePoint knowledge preferred.
• Post graduate degree in Supply Chain, Retail, Operations or Inventory.
• Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and customers.
• Create inventory budgets and maintain stock ratios.
• Track transportation and distribution of inventory.
• Oversee stock records and compile evaluation reports.
• Perform daily auditing of inventory.
• Supervise inventory cycle counting, cost movement, and re-stocking processes.
