Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller is seeking an on-site Inventory Clerk in Spokane, WA to receive, identify, store and deliver a wide variety of raw materials and manufactured parts for processing, assembly, machining, or shipment. This role also labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, stock reconciliation, vendor liaison, records maintenance, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• General computer experience.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to present written information clearly.
• Ability to follow work instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Ability to research and present recommendations for improvements and controls.
• Ability to read basic blueprints (situational).
• Ability to operate hand/fork trucks.

Responsibilities

• Records purchases, maintains database, and reconciles stock counts.
• Verifies calculations against stock counts and corrects errors.
• Investigates discrepancies and reports reasons.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
• Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods.
• Liaises with vendors and purchasing agents for deliveries.
• Maintain records of items received and shipped.
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to safety procedures.
