Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Stockroom Associate to receive shipments, maintain inventory records, and organize stockrooms and off-site locations. You will support the sales floor after shipments and during recovery periods, ensuring items are logged, ticketed, and readily accessible for replenishment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and superior customer service while collaborating with the sales team and supervisor to optimize stock levels and product flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred and stockroom experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with appropriate equipment.
• Ability to operate scanning equipment for extended periods.
• Flexible availability including weekends for full-time or part-time schedules.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipment as delivered.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare for distribution to the sales floor.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding inventory levels and damages.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories and stock merchandise on appropriate shelves or in offsite locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Ensure merchandise is stored, ticketed, packaged and logged, and easily located for replenishment.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries as required.
