Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring for a role supporting inventory management and stockroom operations. You will receive shipments, maintain accurate records, and assist the sales team in replenishing the floor after shipments or during recovery periods.

The position emphasizes high-quality customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to lift items and operate scanning equipment. Opportunities include working on the sales floor during peak times and supporting store maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom experience.
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds with proper technique.
• Flexible availability for full-time or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipment as delivered.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding inventory levels and damages.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories and stock merchandise on appropriate shelves or in offsite locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Ensure merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, logged and accessible for replenishment.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries.
• Transport merchandise to/from remote stockroom locations and maintain inventory records.
