Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store team member to manage inventory for front end and pharmacy, ensuring accurate receiving, counting, pricing, and returns. You will drive On-Shelf Availability and support pricing and stock control across departments.

The role includes assisting in front end and pharmacy ordering, maintaining inventory counts, and upholding compliance with state and local laws. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and handles receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes; validates planograms.
• Reviews and coordinates proper use of reports and systems impacting on-hand balances and pricing for front end and pharmacy.
• Executes and maintains front end and pharmacy asset protection; files claims for overages, shortages, and damaged goods including prescription drugs.
• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management in designated stores, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities.
