Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate front-end and pharmacy inventories, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram compliance. You will support on-shelf availability and ensure stock integrity while delivering a positive customer experience.

Under the pharmacist-in-charge, you will assist with vendor orders, recalls, and inventory postings, monitor pricing changes, and help keep inventory records clean and compliant across all departments.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior retail experience, preferably in Walgreens.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing improvements.
• Ability to work under supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory processes for front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Assist with pricing changes, markdowns, and signage.
• Open/close store in absence of management, with cash handling duties.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Support warehouse and vendor inventory management, including receiving and returns.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and package scanning; support Pickup Program.
• Maintain compliance with inventory records and audits.
