Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Brooklyn Park, MN to maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring SAP transactions and leading teams to identify and eliminate root causes of discrepancies.

In this role, you will assist the Materials Manager in developing policies and procedures, coordinate problem-solving, and ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and production records while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring SAP transactions and identifying root causes of discrepancies.
• Coordinate efforts to measure inventory accuracy and lead teams in determining causes of inaccuracies.
• Assist Materials Manager in developing policies and procedures to eliminate root causes of inaccuracies.

Responsibilities

• Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data for materials to maintain records.
• Compare labels, tickets, manifests, and bills of lading to verify shipment contents and weights.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to exchange information regarding products and services.
• Compute product totals and charges for shipments.
• Review production schedules and staffing tables to determine material requirements.
