Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Minnesota to maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring SAP transactions and leading efforts to identify root causes of discrepancies.

You will support the Materials Manager in developing procedures that prevent inaccuracies and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure correct shipments, records, and load accuracy.

This is a full-time, in-person role with a targeted hourly rate of $26.00–$35.00 and bonus eligibility.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Inventory Specialist, you will maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring SAP transactions and finding and eliminating root causes for errors by coordinating efforts to measure inventory accuracy and to lead teams in determining the causes of inventory inaccuracies. The inventory specialist will also assist the Materials Manager in developing policies and procedures that will eliminate the root causes of inventory inaccuracies.

Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Document quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files.
• Compare product labels, tags, or tickets, shipping manifests, purchase orders, and bills of lading to verify accuracy of shipment contents, quality specifications, and/or weights.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to exchange information regarding products, materials, and services.
• Compute product totals and charges for shipments.
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.

Targeted Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $35.00, bonus eligible
