Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain raw material inventory within SAP, verify receipts, and support material availability for scheduled production jobs. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to quality systems (AS9100/ISO9000), and teamwork across Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring proper material staging and documentation in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess superior attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong communication (verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
• Operating in an AS9100 or ISO9000 quality management system.
• Must have a demonstrated and verifiable attendance record.
• Must be flexible and willing to handle other duties as assigned.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• ITAR/EAR clearance is required
• Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Must be a Self-Motivated individual that can stay on task for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate raw material inventory records in SAP.
• Process and document raw material receipts, transfers, and issues in SAP.
• Verify incoming materials against POs and receiving docs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy between physical stock and SAP records.
• Perform monthly cycle counts and assist with annual counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and errors.
• Analyze adjustments and identify root causes.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Production/Warehouse to ensure material availability.
• Review schedules and verify materials are available and staged.
• Notify departments of shortages in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials are organized, labeled, stored per standards.
• Support material handlers to ensure availability for picking.
• Maintain inventory docs per policies.
• Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping rules.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
