Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience in retail (internal Walgreens preferred)
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for the entire store including front end and pharmacy
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns
• Validate and ensure accuracy of planograms and on-hand balances
• Review and coordinate use of reports affecting pricing and inventory
• Maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and process claims for overages/shortages/damages
• Open and close store operations when designated, including cash handling and POS tasks
• Assist with price changes, markdowns, and proper signage to ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate ordering and stock levels, including interstore transfers and returns
• Complete out-of-stock and inventory reconciliation activities
• Coach team members on inventory systems and procedures
• Participate in physical inventory preparation and execution
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves
