Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented team member to manage and train inventory processes across the store and pharmacy. You will assist with receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and ensuring planogram accuracy, while supporting asset protection and order accuracy.

Responsibilities include reviewing reports affecting on-hand balances, assisting with pricing tasks, and ensuring compliant handling of regulated items. A flexible schedule and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.
• Pharmacy license/certification as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store and pharmacy.
• Review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection; file claims for overages/shortages and damages.
• Open/close the store in the absence of management in designated locations.
• Lead customer service during duty, resolve issues, and model service best practices.
• Coordinate warehouse and vendor inventory management, and process orders.
• Assist in pricing activities, markdowns, and ensuring proper signage.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance and support inventory records.
