Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift license required.
• Capable of lifting 50 lb. to 200 lb. valve bodies and bar stock with assistance.
• Standing for long periods (up to 8 hours or more).
• Ability to multitask and organize daily tasks.
• Occasional weekends and overtime when scheduled.
• Adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized stockroom and inventory warehouse.
• Reorganize and relocate inventory to improve storage efficiency and workflow.
• Label and tag inventory with updated location codes and product identifiers.
• Collaborate with stockroom staff to develop new storage strategies.
• Cycle count inventory monthly.
• Implement process improvements to minimize shrinkage and improve accuracy.
• Train and support staff on inventory management best practices.
• Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent damage or loss.
• Record inventory transactions using the AS400 system to maintain integrity.
