Responsabilidades

• Packages parts for shipments and ships customer orders.
• Pulls parts from inventory based on pick lists.
• Stocks items on shelves per location system.
• Unloads trucks and delivers parts to job line.
• Update inventory records to reflect current information.
• Perform cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Inform supervisor of inventory issues and perform other duties as directed.
• Support specialty inventory roles as needed.

Description

BASIC FUNCTION:

Performs basic functions necessary to ensure a smooth efficient flow of parts. Includes receiving, stocking, cycle counting, preparing, and shipping customer orders.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives and inspects materials delivered because of purchase orders. Matches goods against purchase orders, packing slips and manufacturer’s part number to ensure the correct parts and quantities are processed.
• Packages parts for shipments and ships customer orders.
• Pulls parts from inventory locations based on customer order pick lists.
• Stocks items on shelves in accordance with orderly inventory location system.
• Unloads trucks and delivers parts to job line
• Keep inventory records updated to reflect current and accurate information.
• Performs cycle counting on all inventory items to ensure accurate inventory.
• Maintain work area in a safe and organized manner.
• Keeps supervisor informed of pertinent issues involving inventory and performs other duties a directed by supervisor.
• Assigned to support specialty inventory roles as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Two years’ experience in inventory control functions in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift training or ability to become certified as a forklift operator.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
