Job summary

RS Integrated Supply is seeking an Inventory Specialist in Dayton, OH to manage stock levels, receive and issue materials, and maintain accurate records in ERP systems. You will work closely with clients to ensure parts availability and timely service.

The role emphasizes on-site logistics support, inventory precision, and proactive communication with the client to handle stock needs and Kanban requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills.
• Basic computer literacy in Windows and MS Office.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Able to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow site safety and security procedures.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and SOPs.
• Unpack stock, verify against packing slip and PO; enter receiving and inventory data.
• Issue materials to clients; pull, stage and kit as required.
• Place received material in proper storage; tagging, repacking, delivering.
• Prepare material for return to vendor; parts for repair per SOPs.
• Perform cycle counts and report stock balance discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by count and location; replace barcodes and relocations in ERP.
• Verify on-hand quantities to identify reorder needs.
