Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join the warehouse team. You will maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and help manage stock levels to prevent discrepancies and waste.

The role requires experience in inventory control, proficiency with inventory software and Excel, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Physical tasks and potential for overtime are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control or stock management is required.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with inventory handling.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical stock.
• Maintain organized stockroom and ensure proper storage and rotation of inventory.
• Process inventory adjustments, receipts, and transfers in the inventory management system.
• Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, obsolescence, and potential shortages.
• Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
