Job summary

RS Integrated Supply in Oak Hill, NY is seeking an Inventory Specialist to perform on-site warehousing tasks including receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counting and client interface.

You will use ERP and inventory systems to track stock, verify items against packing slips and PO, organize storeroom space, and ensure accuracy while delivering professional customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills
• Basic computer proficiency – Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Inventory Management Systems
• Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in part identification
• Detail oriented and well-organized
• Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Follow all site Safety and Security Procedures; perform all assignments and tasks in a safe manner and report unsafe conditions
• Provide professional level of customer service to internal and external customers and report concerns to supervisor
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures and SOPs
• Unpack purchased material, verify against packing slip and PO and enter receiving and inventory information into the ERP system
• Issue materials to client as requested; pulling, staging and kitting material as required
• Place received material into proper storage location; perform tagging, repacking, delivering and special handling
• Issue returns for unused material per SOP guidelines
• Prepare material for return to vendor and parts for repair per SOPs
• Perform cycle counts and report stock balance discrepancies for resolution
• Maintain inventory accuracy by count and location; replace barcodes and process relocations in ERP
