Job summary

Avantor's Lab and Production Services team is seeking an inventory-focused role in Rio Rancho, NM. You will support customers by handling materials, maintaining accurate stock, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations at the site.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the willingness to work a 6am–6pm shift Thurs–Sat with alternating Wednesdays. Prior GMP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of prior work experience required.
• Experience in material handling and/or working in a clean-room environment is a plus.
• GMP facility experience is desired.
• Able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive products at customer dock or shipping/receiving point and unpack as needed.
• Record receipts of inventory against packing slips and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels within storerooms and customer areas.
• Transport consumables on wheeled carts and stock POU locations as required.
• Use scanner and proprietary software to transact stocking quantities and download transactions.
• Perform regular POU audits for proper signage and item records.
• Serve as point of contact for inventory availability issues and escalation paths.
• Support special projects such as tours and non-standard activities onsite.
• Meet scheduling requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
