Job summary

Fernway in Farmingdale NY seeks an Inventory Specialist to perform daily cannabis inventory counts, manage non-cannabis inventories, and handle shipments between warehouses. You will maintain ERP records, perform cycle counts, and support packing and deliveries as needed.

Ideal candidates are proficient with inventory software, Excel, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail, reliable communication, and a flexible, team-focused work ethic.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with inventory management software.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
• Experience using inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Cycle Counts: Daily cannabis inventory counts and weekly non-cannabis counts.
• Receive Shipments: Unload trucks and receive cannabis and non-cannabis material.
• Organize, label and store inventory at multiple warehouses.
• Assist in preparation and breakdown of shipments.
• Execute movement transactions and adjustments within ERP system.
• Maintain inventory par levels in Excel and update reports for management.
• Conduct deliveries, cannabis and non-cannabis.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members.
• Take on additional tasks as needed (light warehouse maintenance, deliveries/pickups, packaging).
