Job summary

Ziply Fiber is expanding its inventory team and seeks a Storekeeper to plan and control inventory activities. You will analyze data-based forecasts and manage stock to ensure service levels and distribution goals are met, optimizing resource use.

Responsibilities include initiating material requests, processing orders, and assisting customers. You will maintain stock levels, coordinate supply point activities, and work under limited supervision in a modern office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Inventory management experience is required, including cycle counting and full inventories.
• Forklift operating experience is required; able to load/unload and put away merchandise.
• Experience with inventory management systems; Infinium preferred.
• Knowledge of SCI material ordering system preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Initiate material requests to support customer service/operations and track inventory in the management system.
• Process system and manual material requests for purchase and expedited deliveries.
• Provide information to customers and vendors about stock units and purchases.
• Investigate discrepancies and adjust forecasts and distributions based on stock plans.
• Coordinate follow-up activities for inventory at Supply Point locations.
• Assist and advise customers on inventory-related matters.
• Follow orders to completion, including returns when necessary.
• Maintain stock items at required levels to meet efficiency standards; receive, ship, and prepare items for pickup.
• Work under limited supervision and comply with laws and company policies.
