Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a Material Specialist to receive, store, and issue materials on the production floor, ensuring accurate counts and timely distribution to jobs.

You will maintain inventory in the ERP system, move items safely using forklifts, participate in cycle counts and year-end inventory, and uphold safety standards; overtime may be required based on production needs.

Strong organization and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment (forklift certification).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems and Microsoft Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Overtime, shift work, or weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and examine incoming materials against purchase orders and documents.
• Store materials in designated areas and update storage locations.
• Retrieve materials for various jobs and distribute items promptly and accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records in the ERP system.
• Safely move materials to the production line and adhere to safety procedures.
• Participate in monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Keep warehouse spaces clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
