Job summary

Fluence is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage inventory across its Americas sites, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment. The role emphasizes data integrity, ERP experience, and collaboration with procurement and logistics to support projects and operations.

The successful candidate will handle cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and reporting, contributing to continuous inventory improvements in a fast-paced energy storage environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or related supply chain functions.
• Experience with ERP or WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple sites including warehouses and project locations.
• Perform inventory reconciliation activities (cycle counts, physical counts) and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Material Planners, Procurement, and Logistics for replenishment.
• Process inventory transactions in the ERP system (receipts, issues, returns, transfers).
• Support project execution by preparing material kits and tracking deliveries.
• Create and update reports on inventory status, aging, excess/obsolete materials, and shortages.
• Collaborate with warehouses, 3PLs, and internal teams to resolve inventory issues.
