Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Production Kitter / Inventory Specialist in East Setauket, NY. You will pull, organize, and prepare parts for assembly on a permanent, full-time basis, with a Monday-Friday schedule. The role supports the production floor by ensuring accurate kits and on-time delivery.

The position offers $22.00-$25.00 per hour ($45k-$50k per year) with a 2:00pm-10:00pm shift and 8:00am-4:00pm work hours. Requires High School education and 3 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in production kit assembly or inventory roles.
• Prior experience pulling/organizing parts for BOMs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.

Responsibilities

• Pull, organize, and assemble parts into production kits per work orders and BOMs.
• Inspect outgoing kits for accuracy, completeness, and condition.
• Monitor stock levels and log inventory movements.
• Label and store parts in correct bin locations.
• Collaborate with leads to prevent shortages and ensure on-time delivery.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping our production floor running smoothly by pulling, organizing, and preparing essential parts and components for assembly line orders. Responsibilities

• Pull, organize, and assemble parts, hardware, and components into production kits according to work orders and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Inspect outgoing kits to ensure all parts are accurate, complete, undamaged, and ready for the assembly line
• Monitor stock levels, log inventory movements, and ensure parts are properly labeled and stored in their correct bin locations
• Collaborate with team leads and assemblers to prevent part shortages and ensure materials are delivered on schedule
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety guidelines, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
