Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure accurate tracking of materials for manufacturing processes. You will maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.

Responsibilities include investigating discrepancies, documenting bin locations, performing quality checks, and supporting safe, organized work areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Basic experience with computerized inventory systems required

  • Perform quality checks on incoming and stored inventory.
  • Coordinate the logistics of inter-business transfers.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the accuracy of inventory for materials supplied to manufacturing processes through tracking and document inventory levels, maintaining accurate documentation, reporting trends and discrepancies, and ordering supplies when necessary.

  • Coordinate the logistics of inter-business transfers.

Work Environment and Physical Demands of the role
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment and facilities can be loud – hearing protection required in most locations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in a busy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 80 pounds, above 50 pounds is a two person lift.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus for quality inspections of materials within the facility.
