A leading retail company is seeking an individual to manage inventory processes and enhance customer experience. Responsibilities include overseeing store operations, training staff, and ensuring compliance with inventory standards. The ideal candidate will have retail experience and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Supports pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Champions On-Shelf Availability and manages all in-store inventory processes, including planogram validation.
Reviews and coordinates reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy inventory accuracy. Implements and maintains asset protection techniques, handles claims for overages, shortages, order errors, and damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
In designated stores, opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and ensuring readiness for the business day.
Engages customers proactively, resolves issues, and ensures a positive experience. Shares customer service best practices with team members, focusing on interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Executes and coaches team on inventory management, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders. Manages delivery scans, verifies pharmacy shipments, and completes all pharmacy and store inventory activities, including planogram compliance and disposals.
Supports pricing activities, maintains accurate inventory counts, and ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products. Assists with physical inventory preparations and supports store merchandising and cleanliness.
Supports delivery activities, package returns, and the Walgreens Pickup Program. When serving as leader on duty, manages POS transactions and maintains transaction records.
Attends training sessions, completes e-learning modules, and maintains required licenses/certifications.
Acts as a liaison between management and team, coaching on inventory systems and communicating tasks and issues effectively.
