Job description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Help ensure inventories are accurate and audits are correct to prevent fraud and protect company assets. You will report to the Retail Inventory Analyst/Gift Shop Manager.

Pay Rate: $17.98/Hr | Full-Time | Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM

This Position Requires Testing prior to interview

Primary Tasks

1. Input data for all incoming products into the inventory control system.
2. Develop procedures to maintain inventory accountability and integrity.
3. Assist with inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
4. Prepare reports on cycle count activities, discrepancies, and shrinkage.
5. Coordinate activities and proper handling of damaged and defective merchandise.
6. Identify and report inventory adjustments.
7. Conduct assessments of current processes to evaluate efficiency and identify improvements.
8. Schedule and conduct physical inventory counts of all stock and supplies.
9. Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes.
10. Analyze root causes of inventory-related issues and recommend resolutions.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ten key and keyboarding proficiency (60-70 WPM) required.
• Proficiency in Excel (including complex spreadsheets) and Word required.
• At least 1 year of retail, inventory, purchasing, or stock experience required.
