Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an aerospace or automotive manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with inventory management and inventory control in a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with cycle counting processes using an ERP system.
• Experience with SAP for inventory management and material handling activities.
• Forklift certification and demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Valid California drivers license.
• Ability to perform quality control inspections on materials and parts.
• Strong data entry and computer skills for managing digital inventory records.
• Proficient communication skills across multiple platforms, including email and messaging tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform material handling tasks safely.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations within a warehouse environment.

• Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to maintain efficient material flow and prevent stock discrepancies.
• Use computer skills to communicate and coordinate across multiple platforms, including email and messaging tools.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean warehouse environment while following established procedures and best practices.

Job Description

The Inventory Specialist manages aerospace and automotive manufacturing inventory in a modern warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate physical and digital tracking of parts, oversees material movement and storage, and supports shipping and receiving operations. The Inventory Specialist uses an ERP system and SAP to perform cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
