Job description

Inventory Associate / Pharmacy Support

Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training on inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Supports pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns. Ensures On-Shelf Availability and validates planogram accuracy.

Reviews reports and system applications impacting front end and pharmacy inventory accuracy. Implements asset protection techniques, manages claims for overages, shortages, order errors, and damaged goods, including prescription drugs.

In designated stores, may open and close the store, handle cash, operate systems, and ensure readiness for business.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers to offer assistance, resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience. Shares customer service best practices with team members, emphasizing greeting, courtesy, and proactive service.

Operations

• Coaches team on inventory management, including ordering and receiving.
• Manages deliveries, focusing on One Box receiving, and verifies pharmacy shipments under pharmacist supervision.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability processes, disposals, vendor returns, and pharmacy inventory activities.
• Performs pricing activities, maintains accurate inventory counts, and supports compliance with regulations.
• Assists with inventory record keeping, physical inventories, and store merchandising.
• Supports package delivery activities and the Pickup Program.
• Serves as leader on duty when needed, managing POS transactions and customer service activities.

Training & Personal Development

• Participates in training and maintains necessary certifications, including pharmacy licensing.

Communications

• Serves as liaison between management and team, communicating tasks and issues effectively.
