Job summary

Wallwork Truck Center in Fargo, ND is seeking a full-time Inventory Specialist to receive parts into inventory, process returns, and conduct cycle counts and bin checks. This on-site role requires strong math skills and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a pay rate of $22–$24 per hour, plus competitive benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and PTO. Prior inventory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of one year inventory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts into inventory and perform cycle counts and bin checks.
• Scrap parts, code invoices, and reconcile inventory discrepancies with vendors.
• Return parts to vendors and process customer returns and core management.
• Enter quantities for issued and transferred parts into the database.
• Provide local delivery support and operate warehouse equipment as needed.

Job description

Wallwork Truck Center is currently hiring a full-time Inventory Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving parts into inventory, scrapping parts, coding invoices into Intellivue, following up on customer returns, returning parts to vendors, filing inventory discrepancies with vendors, and performing cycle counts and bin checks.

This is an on-site, in-person position based in Fargo, ND. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. $22-$24/hr.

Qualifications

Education and/or years’ experience required:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of one year inventory experience.

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills
• Must possess general math skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player in the department

Essential Functions And Accountabilities

• Maintain and order parts as needed.
• Make sure all inventory is documented and accounted for accurately.
• Processing and reconciling inventory invoices and requesting credits as needed.
• Cleanliness and organization of warehouse and bulk area.
• Managing inventory returns.
• Core management, processing, and reconciling.
• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
• Service assigned customers on route, until daily delivery requirements are fulfilled.
• Some overnight travel may be required as needed. (Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.)
• Submit parts orders for all designated customers; as needed.
• Verify and review all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders.
• Completes core battery, warranty, and new part returns per Company policy.
• Local delivery of parts to customers on designated route; must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
• Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
