Job summary

Wallwork Truck Center is seeking a full-time Inventory Specialist in Fargo, ND to manage receiving, scrapping, invoicing, and cycle counts. The role requires at least one year of inventory experience and strong math skills; MS Office proficiency is preferred.

The job offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a pay rate of $22–$24 per hour and benefits. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team, ensure accurate inventory documentation, and assist with

Responsibilities

• Receive parts into inventory and maintain records.

• Return parts to vendors and reconcile inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and bin checks.
• Enter data for quantities issued and transfers between locations.

Job description

Wallwork Truck Center is currently hiring a full-time Inventory Specialist! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving parts into inventory, scrapping parts, coding invoices into Intellivue, following up on customer returns, returning parts to vendors, filing inventory discrepancies with vendors, and performing cycle counts and bin checks.

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. $22-$24/hr.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or years’ experience required:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of one year inventory experience.

Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must possess general math skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player in the department

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES

• Maintain and order parts as needed.
• Make sure all inventory is documented and accounted for accurately.
• Processing and reconciling inventory invoices and requesting credits as needed.
• Cleanliness and organization of warehouse and bulk area.
• Managing inventory returns.
• Core management, processing, and reconciling.
• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
• Service assigned customers on route, until daily delivery requirements are fulfilled.
• Some overnight travel may be required as needed. (Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.)
• Submit parts orders for all designated customers; as needed.
• Verify and review all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders.
• Completes core battery, warranty, and new part returns per Company policy.
• Local delivery of parts to customers on designated route; must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
• Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
