Job summary

Wallwork Truck Center is seeking a reliable full-time Route Driver to support our parts team. You will deliver parts on local routes, load and unload items, and ensure accurate orders while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The wage is $45,000 per year with potential for higher depending on experience. Qualified candidates have a valid license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to assigned customers along designated routes and meet daily delivery requirements.
• Load and unload necessary parts and submit parts orders as needed.
• Some overnight travel may be required; lodging, meals and travel expenses are covered.
• Review deliveries to ensure correct orders and maintain safety checks per policy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment where applicable.
• Provide good customer service and coordinate returns with sales teams.

• CDL is not required for our Fargo location
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one
• Must maintain a professional personal appearance

Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable)

• No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities

• Deliver parts to assigned customers along designated routes while ensuring daily delivery requirements are completed.
• Must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
• Submit parts orders for all designated customers as needed.
• Some overnight travel may be required as needed, depending on territory. Lodging, meals and travel expenses are compensated per company guidelines.
• Review and verify all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders.
• Complete core returns, warranty, and new part returns per Company policies and procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
• Exercise sound independent judgment and discretion to meet the needs of the company, employees, and/or customers.
• Follow up with sales, coordinate returns, and overall customer service.
• Service existing accounts.
• Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
• Maintains professional and establishing personal networks.
• Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
• Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
• Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
